Army of Karl

One of my favourite sights from this year's Latitude; about 8 women all dressed as the former Beach-bum himself, mr Lagerfeld. I have no idea why or what they were doing (some of them seemed to have massive amps or speakers on trolleys) but it sure made me giggle.

PS: YIPPEE! Ive got ma internetz back! This means I can upload REAL PICTURES without having to steal them from other peoples websites!!! it also means it doesnt take me five million years to post the smallest thing. Best of all, it means im back to bizzniss baby. more posts more posts more posts.

GAGGLE

This weekend Ive mostly been at Latitude festival which has mostly been the worst one yet because of all the kids taking K and legal highs and thinking that theyre cool after watching too much channel 4. However because I am the opposite of that and cool in real life I also managed to have some good experiences. Mainly seeing First Aid Kit. Sadly The XX was ruined by the aforementioned but I wont go into that else Ill just spoil things for myself.

Anyway anyway anyway, remember a million years ago when I posted THIS ? (the video of which has since been taken down - FOR SHAME... Ill change it)... well last night I totally got to see them and it was AWESOME. literally the most brilliant thing. So inspiring and just wicked wicked wicked. I love Gaggle and you should too.

GET A LIFE.

So this weekend I went to Latitude festival, which Im lucky enough to live but 20 minutes away from. The whole weekend was brilliant, I saw the amaaaazing Grace Jones and Bat for lashes, as well as some good poets etc. However the highlight of the festival absolutely was seeing Vivienne Westwood, my absolute idol and inspiration, in the flesh not one metre away from me. For the first half hour or so she read from her manifesto, and then the last hour was a Q&A which was really good. To be honest alot of the stuff she said I didnt understand or agree with, however just seeing her there talking with such passion was so inspiring. Although my days are always completely filled and im always so busy busy busy she made me feel like im not doing enough. i feel like i need to GET A LIFE. My world is filled with worthless crap, i feel like i need to cleanse myself of it. Ive got an urge to learn. I dont like being lazy, I cant let it happen. and nor can you. get a life. Read the manifesto here www.activeresistance.co.uk.
