I found this original 1980s Michael Jackson sticker on a pavement in Reading two days ago. The world is a strange and magical place.

My life

At the moment my life pretty much consists of flowers, animals and painting floors, so this is why I have been quiet as a mouse. You see my degree show is in a mere 3 weeks which means the next 2 weeks is dedicated totes to this and I have a hella lot to do.
In the meantime, watch this lovely animation by Robin Bushell, and pray for my safe return to sanity. xxxxx

I just missed your heart.

 I Just saw HANNA and all I pretty much think is YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS.
Honestly, it is SO GOOD. There is so much great visual imagary in it, wonderful acting (from Saoirse Ronan and Cate Blanchette in particular), some fantastic costume, an invigorating soundtrack (courtesy of the Chemical Brothers), and most importantly an exciting, strange and wonderful story.
I think Elizabeth at White Lightening was so right when she talked about it and how it made her want to go fuck shit up. Literally I could do that right now. I sort of feel like running right into traffic and then right onto the car as it moves towards me and then jump onto the next one and smash some stuff because I CAN DO ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


 
Also I should mention the amazing sets and locations featured in the film, particuarly in the final scenes. I don't want to give anything away but any film that features beautiful fog-filled-abandoned-overgrown-dinosaur-theme-park rollercoasters is sure to be A DREAM.

This is so fucking nice!!!

As an art student about to graduate (I have 5 weeks untill my degree show and this makes me want to be sick everywhere so badly I could probably go into really graphic detail. But I wont) I have to say this film has filled me with nothing more than excitement and reassurance that EVERYTHING WILL BE OK. I know that sounds really lame but sometimes I don't give a fuck about sounding lame.
