Speech Debelle wins Mercury prize

Speech Debelle has won the Mercury music prize! Aparently before being nominated only 3000 copies of her albums had been sold, however I think that might change now, and well deservedly so. (is deservedly a word?). Although I was fully pumped thinking either Bat for Lashes, Florence and the Machine or La Roux would win, mainly just because I love them all, I think I fully overlooked the other bands I hadnt heard of, and now having listened I think Speech is fully awesome!!!
